You will provide a high-quality, inspiring and personalised service to supporters and members of the public contacting Greenpeace UK by email, social media, telephone and post. You will respond to routine enquiries, handle donation changes and answer questions about Greenpeace campaigns. Youβll also make calls to donors to thank them for their support and invite them to support us in other ways.

β’ Write clear and engaging emails and letters to supporters, responding to routine enquiries like changing details, cancelling donations, or other admin requests.
β’ Respond to a range of enquiries about Greenpeace campaigns, making sure replies are personalised and timely.
β’ Thank supporters for taking action with Greenpeace, keeping them inspired and involved by sending engaging content β whether itβs a follow-up action, a blog post, or a video.
β’ Use templates provided to write to supporters cancelling their donation, encouraging them to stay with us and continue their support for our planet.

Experience

β’ Experience in customer service, supporter care or a similar role.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to write engaging, personalised responses and handle phone queries confidently, adjusting your tone for different audiences.
β’ Experience of using databases and updating records.
β’ The ability to resolve queries and complaints calmly and professionally, with a focus on positive outcomes.

1. An example of a problem or blocker you had to resolve, What was the problem? How did you solve and how were you sure it worked?

2.Give us an example of digital online system that you have previously used, anything from google suite to windows, from Adobe to Canva or social media platforms and how you went about learning how to get the best out of it and up skilling yourself.

3. Tell us about a time when you had to talk with someone whose views or perspective on something you are passionate about were different from your own. How did you approach the conversation and what did you do to make sure the person felt listened to and respected? This can be a work, educational or social interaction. What was the outcome of the conversation. This does not have to be Greenpeace or environment based.

4. Take a look at some of Greenpeace UK's campaigns and pick the one that most speaks to you. Record either a video or voice note (up to 3 mins) giving us an overview of the campaign, what its objectives are and why you think it's important.
