Production Accounts Trainee Programme

⚪️ Production Accounts Trainee Programme

The CrewHQ Trainee Programme provides a pathway into a career in film and TV production. This route is focused on production accounting, the team that manages the money behind every production, from crew payroll to budgets and cost tracking.

Based on site at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, home to some of the biggest productions made in the UK such as The Batman, Barbie and Wonka, this programme will give you:

  • Behind-the-scenes access to Warner Bros. Discovery film and TV productions
  • Training from industry experts in the bespoke CrewHQ centre
  • The chance to interview for paid placements on Warner Bros. Discovery productions currently filming at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden
  • Networking opportunities with working crew

🟡 The opportunity

The programme starts with two weeks of training at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden covering set etiquette and resilience for life on production, key paperwork and terminology, guidance on how to be a freelancer, and CV and interview preparation. Financial support is provided for training travel and accommodation costs.

If you secure a placement, you'll join a production's accounts team like any other member of the crew on a paid placement of up to 12 months, paid above the national living wage.

🟣 Who can apply

No qualifications or industry experience required. There will be a numeracy and literacy test at the assessment day. If you've got transferable skills from business administration, event management, or projects at school, college or university, your skills are more transferable than you think. You must be 18+ with the legal right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and CrewHQ are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace and particularly welcome applicants from historically marginalised backgrounds.

🔵 Key dates

Applications close 28 June. There's a free webinar on Tuesday 16 June, 5 to 6pm, to learn more about the programme and application process before you apply.
